Makar Briggs

Makar Briggs is a rising senior at American University majoring in International Studies with a focus on Europe and Eurasia. His Russian-American background and experience in Moscow and Siberia inform his work on EU–CIS relations, democratic governance, and post-Soviet affairs. He has served as Chief Research Intern at the American-Eurasia Center and plans to pursue graduate studies in the EU to advance democratic resilience.
