Billy Studholme

Billy is from, and is based in, Manchester, England. His extensive editorial background includes journalism, copywriting, and communications consultancy, and he has volunteered with the United Nations Development Programme providing security-related media-monitoring support in Western Europe. Billy got his Master’s degree in International Business Management, where he focused heavily on political economy and international development. He wrote his dissertation on the competitiveness of the ‘PIIGS’ Eurozone countries in the wake of the European debt crisis, quantifying, for the first time, their competitiveness using Porter’s Diamond as a framework. His interests include diplomacy, international relations, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and disinformation in the age of AI.
