Francesca Monticelli is a postgraduate War Studies student at King’s College London. Her academic background is mainly related to international relations and contemporary warfare. Her current research focuses on the Eastern European region and on energy security, with a particular emphasis on critical minerals. Her recent projects include an analysis of Germany’s reliance on Russian energy after the Crimean annexation and a policy initiative to counter Russian cyberattacks in Finland.
