Ines Maes is a researcher with a background in Political Science, holding a Bachelor’s degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Her bachelor thesis examined how female political role models influence young women’s political ambition. She is currently preparing her master thesis on international security and defence. Her mission is to create brave spaces, use words to unify rather than polarize, and contribute with dedication to the field of security and defence in service of her state.
