Jokin de Carlos Sola is a graduate in politics, history, law and intelligence studies at Leiden University (NL). His research focuses on European strategic autonomy, especially in the field of intelligence and infraestructure networks. Regionally he has developed an expertise in the High North region of both the Arctic and the Baltic Seas. He is part of the FLEET Network of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Professionally he has worked as a Defence Analyst as well as for the European Commision.
