Jolina-Zoe Zarda is a Master’s student in International Affairs at the Hertie School, Berlin, specialising in international security. She holds a BA in International Relations and International Organizations from the University of Groningen. Her interests include security and defence, peacekeeping, and non-state actors. She has experience with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Athens and is active in the Hertie Security Club and the German Council on Foreign Relations.
Marina Henke is Professor of International Relations at the Hertie School and Director of the Centre for International Security in Berlin. Her research covers grand strategy and nuclear security. She holds a PhD from Princeton and published Best Practices in Grand Strategy Design (2025).
