Maria Pia Hayek is a Lebanese legal professional with degrees in Law and Public Law from USJ and an Advanced LL.M. in International and European Human Rights Law from Leiden University. Her experience includes research with the Leiden Children’s Rights Observatory and legal clinic work supporting vulnerable groups. At EPIS, she is currently developing research proposals in international human rights law, with a broader focus on accountability and rights protection.
