Martina completed her MA in International Relations at the University of Bologna, with a thesis on the origins of the Sino-Russian challenge to the US-led international order. She is currently pursuing a Junior Research Fellowship at the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights, focusing on European foreign and security policy. Her interests include US-Russia-China rivalry; transatlantic and European security and defence; disarmament, conflict prevention, and peace operations.
