Soehayla Halouchi is a Dutch-Moroccan researcher and journalist specializing in Gulf history, geopolitics and foreign affairs. With a background in history and international relations, she combines academic research with her previous experience at NOS and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her work challenges Western-centered narratives by exploring how Gulf states shape their own political trajectories.
