Sveva began her academic path at Maastricht University, where a bachelor's in European Studies first drew her towards security and defence. She pursued this interest through a master's in International Security Studies at Charles University in Prague, progressively specialising in the defence domain. Her current research focuses on military innovation, the European defence industry, and emerging defence technologies, with particular attention to their implications for European security policy.
