Valerie Panatas is an Indonesian second year student at the University of Amsterdam. Her current research focus is government regimes, covering democracy and autocracy, as well as Eurocentrism. She is also interested in political economy and geopolitics. In the coming months, she will be doing research on an autocratic regime survival, exploring why certain regimes survive for longer and what factors influence this survival rate.
